Located just 5 miles from downtown Keene, directly at 341 State Route 9, Pinnacle Mountain at Granite Gorge is easy to get to, with no long access road. Its north face, protection from the wind, 525 ft. vertical drop, ability to hold snow and affordable prices all make Granite Gorge Ski Area a desirable and reliable winter sports destination. Granite Gorge offers state-of-the-art snowmaking and grooming services, consistently covering all snowmaking trails. The summit double chairlift, "Pinnacle Express," provides access to beautiful and diverse trails, including entry to Jumper Terrain Park. The lift features midstation unloading. Snowmaking is provided to the midstation elevation to produce great skiing/riding conditions. The "CB-1 Handle Tow" services the easier terrain of Bunny Buster and the BB Terrain Park. Enjoy your runs in the Tubing Park, serviced by our super-smooth Wondercarpet lift.
Our XC trails include 12km of groomed trails running along Otter Brook for both skating and classic Nordic enthusiasts. Snowshoeing along the brook has also become popular. Granite Gorge offers hot and cold drinks, assorted snacks and concessions. In addition to our base lodge, a new heated Pacific Yurt provides a fun place to gather after playing hard on the mountain.
