What is "The Waterville Effect?"
The Waterville Effect is what happens every winter in Waterville Valley when the mountain's 4,000 ft. elevation combines with the resort's unique valley to create an ideal snow pocket. It also means 2,000 vertical feet of skiing and riding for all ability levels. That's not all. It's also Waterville's selfcontained village with dining, shopping and tons of off the slope fun like ice skating, Nordic skiing and sleigh rides. And it's Waterville Valley's easy location, just two hours from Boston.
