NEW HAMPSHIRE SKI RESORTS OFFER SENIOR-FRIENDLY RATES AND PROGRAMS


With the "senior" segment of our society being the most active in history, it makes sense that Ski NH resorts do all they can to cater to them.  Not only do Ski NH resorts offer senior-friendly programs, they provide some great savings as well.  Here is a sampling of this year's programs:

 

Attitash, Bartlett

-T.G.I.F. (Thank Goodness I'm Fifty) is held Thursdays from 10am-noon and works on improving participants' skiing and riding in a relaxed atmosphere.

 

Bretton Woods, Bretton Woods

-Senior Thursdays - Seniors (ages 65+) ski or ride, and get a 1.5 hour group lesson for only $45 on non-holiday Thursdays.

 

Cannon Mountain, Franconia Notch

-Cannon Cruisers - Every non-holiday Monday, seniors age 50+ go out from 9:30-noon to share in the spirit of skiing.  Cost is $20 per session or $240 for the season.

 

Cranmore, North Conway

-Golden Gliders - This unstructured learning environment for seniors focuses on enjoyment and camaraderie.  Group meets on non-holiday Mondays.  Cost is $20 per session, or $75 for the season; lift tickets are additional.

 

Loon Mountain, Lincoln

-Flying 50's - This group meets to ski and ride on Thursday and Friday mornings.  It's open to all ability levels with an emphasis on socializing as part of the sport. 

 

Waterville Valley, Waterville Valley

-Silver Streaks - The nation's longest running senior skiing program.  This program is held non-holiday Mondays-Thursdays with reserved parking, coffee and pastries, clinics by trained instructors and daily guided skiing.  A cross country group skis on Wednesdays.

 

Wildcat Mountain, Pinkham Notch

-AristoCat Tuesdays - Ages 50+ save $10 on their lift ticket, get lunch and a 10am lesson on non-holiday Tuesdays.
